FARMFAIR Inaugurated at FarmChimp Store
FarmFair is an unique event that is aimed at creating awareness among the public about the value of good food, importance of traditional farming, crop conservation and the tremendous support that the responsible farmers should get. The event was inaugurated by Inauguration by Jamal Mohammed Al Bannai (Rtd. Brigadier, Dubai Police) at 8 pm on 12 April 2018 at the FarmChimp shop, Wasl Quartz, Karama, Dubai. Famous rice conservationist from Kerala, Cheruvayal Raman was alo present at the event. We live in a time when most of the manufacturers and suppliers focus just on quantity and profitability, and complex distribution systems make use of long-storage facilities to control demand and prices. Quality seems to be the least of anyone's concern and getting good food is becoming increasingly difficult. But, thanks to some determined farmers and conservationists we are still able to get good food produced without chemical fertilizers, pesticides and harmful preservatives. In this effort, FarmChimp goes beyond ensuring fair price to farmers. They further engage and promote them through various campaigns and programs so that they get the respect they deserve and recognition for their efforts. Supporting good farmers and natural farming methods are of the core values upon which FarmChimp was founded. Through this events like these, FarmChimp aims to promote farmers and create awareness about conservation of traditional crops and farming methods.
